Kissing You Remixes: Exclusive Downloads!

It has gone largely unnoticed in non-Korean speaking SNSD fansites, but last month Rhythmer.net hosted a remix competition for amateur DJs to mix SNSD’s Kissing You. The results are now out with 11 winners, and holy smokes are they amazing!

I’ve converted these tracks to mp3 for your listening pleasure. The mixes that I personally recommend are in boldface.

Grand Prize:
1. Skool Rock Mix - Needless to say, this Younha-esque rock arrangement of Kissing You is simply amazing, and it definitely made me ‘rediscover’ Kissing You.

Lee Jun ki stars in new SBS drama: Il Ji Mae

SBS has just released promo shots for the new historical drama Il Ji Mae. Cutie Lee Junki is cast in the leading role of a Robin Hood like character, Il Ji Mae. The 25 year old is easy on the eyes with his longish hair and ninja like outfit. Although he may look the part, the question is - whether the drama will be a hit.

Thoughts?

The drama is currently under production and will air on SBS TV in March 2008.

DBSK Will Make Comeback This September!

Voted as 2008’s most anticipated group, DBSK will be making a comeback with their 4th Korean album this September!

Successfully entering the Japanese market, after a year of extreme hard work to top the Oricon charts, the boys will finally return home to Korea.
A rep at SM stated the following,
“TVXQ will release an album in September and since they haven’t had any activities in Korea for a very long time, they will attend the end of the year ceremonies and as well as perform for the Korean fans”

Aside from this good news, the boys will also be releasing the third volume of History in Japan, which documents another year of their life in Japan. Also, the boys will be on SBS’s variety shows, Line Up (23rd), Miraculous Victory & Defeat (24th), 8 vs. 1, and KBS’ Happy Together (26th). In addition, the boys will be performing on SBS’ Inkigayo and KBS Music Bank!!
