1. KARA have an official Fans club known as Kamilia (카밀리아). The meaning came from the latin word "familia" , familia means family. Kara+familia equals Kamilia! So it means kara and their fans are family. Kara holds a peach colored balloon to recognize the fans at each concert.
2. KARA is taking part in SBS's new drama ""강남엄마 따라잡기" [Kangnam Omma Darajabki]" OST. Their song's name is "Fighting", which has a lively beat & fun melody, bringing a fresh feeling to audiences. Member Kim Sunghee has participated in Three-leaf clover OST, but this the first time all KARA members have joined together.
3. Recently KARA is being compared with another girlband named Wonder Girls. KARA said that the comparison could be good for both of groups, it helps them become more mature and they hope that they would be compared by their talents instead of age similarity.

I’m not in the habit of reporting news, but there seems to be a lot of interest and confusion in what’s going on with the end of Coffee Prince.
A few days ago (the articles I’ve seen are dated August 8; keep in mind Korea’s more than a half-day ahead of the States), the media was reporting that Coffee Prince was extended two episodes — but the story would end on the 17th episode, with the 18th reserved for a “special broadcast,” presumably a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series, NGs, etc.
In the first of the following articles, dated August 9, it was clarified that Yoon Eun Hye has not yet confirmed participation in the extended episodes.
On the same day, dated a few hours later, the second article explains that Yoon Eun Hye is experiencing severe headaches that are sending her to the hospital in her off-camera hours.
On the 9th, someone close to her said that Yoon Eun Hye had been frequently experiencing very severe headaches. According to the source, she hasn’t complained while filming, but she’s had the headaches often and her general condition isn’t good.
Her fatigue has been growing to the extent that she went to the hospital to receive a medical examination. It isn’t so severe that she cannot film, but it’s plain to see that she’s having a very difficult time on set. If her condition continues to worsen, it’s unclear if the extension of the series will be able to proceed. They will finalize plans of whether to extend the series after she has received approval from a doctor that she is fine.

After hearing about the death of a fan who had long been battling leukemia, singer Ivy attended his nighttime memorial on the day of his passing. His last name was Yang, and he was such an ardent fan that up until May, wearing a cap and face mask, he would attend her autograph signings and even TV appearances. It’s very obvious that my favorite local songs are the theme songs of Koreanovelas except with the “Pwede Ba” since ISWAK is a Taiwanese drama and “I Never Knew Love” coz if I’m not mistaken it’s the theme song of a Taiwanese drama aired in GMA. The”Kung Alam Mo Lang”is the Tagalog version of the Korean Song “Because I’m a Woman” which has a very nice MV.

Celestine Cruz Gonzaga, popularly known by her screen name Toni Gonzaga, is a Filipina movie and TV actress, variety program host, singer, and commercial model. She is one of the most visible multimedia artists in Philippine showbiz.
I do love Toni Gonzaga a lot. She’s my favorite singer and host. I also love her when she crack a joke. It’s really right for her to decide to be in ABS-CBN. But of course she was very thankful to GMA since she first entered in show business in GMA. All I can say is that keep up the good work and your fans are always here to support her decisions

I have watched the korean movie my sassy girl 4 years after its original showing in korea. I'm sad I was able to watched it late but still I love the movie. It's my favorite Korean Movie. I love the characters, the stars who act on it and most especially the story.
one of my favorite scene that made me cry is when the date of the unnamed girl (played by jeon ji hyun) states the 10 rules to follow told by Geon-woo ( played by Cha Tae Hyun)

10 rules to follow:

1. Don’t ask her to be feminine.
2. Don’t let her drink over three glasses. She’ll beat someone.
3. At a café, drink coffee instead of coke or juice.
4. If she hits you, act like it hurts. If it hurts, act like it doesn’t.
5. On your 100th day together, give her a rose during her class. She’ll like it a lot.
6. Make sure you learn fencing and squash.
7. And also, be prepared to go to prison sometimes.
8. If she says, she’ll kill you, don’t take it lightly. You’ll feel better.
9. If her feet get hurt, exchange shoes with her.
10. Finally, she likes to write. Encourage her.

Raised in America, Isak moved to Korea in the eighth grade. There, she debuted with the group Isak N Jiyeon in September 2002. During this time, she attended Korea Kent Foreign School.
After Isak N Jiyeon's first album, the duo also participated in SM Town's seasonal summer and winter albums. During these, however, Isak would sometimes be missing from songs and music videos, causing speculation that she had left Korea and/or SM Entertainment.
With Jiyeon currently participating in Chun Sang Ji Hee, it seems likely that Isak N Jiyeon will not reunite. However, Isak is still with SM Entertainment. She was recently at the SM Entertainment 10th Anniversary Party on February 15, 2006 and also participated in the '06 SUMMER SMTOWN album.

However, the star’s agency company explained that Jeon Ji-hyun has only cut her hair short in preparation for her latest film “Blood: the Last Vampire”.

a speech to 45 Harvard business students on the 5th, founder of SM Entertainment Lee Su-man announced pop singer BoA’s plans to advance into the US market.From the SM Entertainment’s head office in Chungdam-dong, Seoul, Lee alluded to BoA’s advancement into Hollywood as an actress.In 2005, BoA was offered a role in the popular MBC drama “Goong/ The Palace,” as well as a movie role with Chinese basketball player Yao Ming.Fans are eager to find out when the popular singer will debut in Hollywood on the heels of fellow-Hallyu star Rain’s participation in the Wachowski brother’s film adaptation of “Speed Racer.”Other local artists Kang-ta, Go Ara, Lee Yun-hui, and Super Junior attended Lee Su-man’s lecture given to the Harvard business students on Hallyu (the Korean Wave) management strategies and systems leading the business of Asian culture.

Asian superstar BoA unveiled a hidden talent on Wednesday with the launch of her personal blog in Japan (blog.oricon.co.jp/boa). The pop diva plans to use the blog as a new way to interact with her fans by showing her offstage life and sharing her day-to-day musings. She also plans to showcase her own photography, a talent that most of her fans were unaware of.
“Recently I’ve been thinking of becoming a photographer,” BoA said in an interview not long ago. “I’m usually the one photographed rather than photographing, and I find it fascinating how my look can change depending on who’s taking the photos. I’m interested in photos and cameras, and I take my camera everywhere to take pictures of landscapes and people.”
In the first post on her blog on Wednesday, BoA wrote, “I plan to write about what I think and feel. Recently I’ve been taking lessons and working on a production in Korea. I’ll write a lot about my work in Korea.”
She also posted two photographs that she shot. The blog was quick to attract her fans’ attention and was rated first in blog listings by Japan’s OriconStyle just one day after it opened.

well your man officially from August 1st gave up his stocks in “WHITE Corporation” the company which Rain, holds the biggest share of their stocks.

Another news … is that Rain seems like Officially opened his own office! It’s called “Rainy Entertaiment” laugh at the name all you want … we already did with our stafff months ago! We thought we were hallucinating so never shared the news on the mainstream .. but Rain himself gave out the address and asked even fans to send their Fan letter to his new address! Official news on Baidu stated the following on the event:
Rain’s agency opened officially in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, on the 20th. Relevant personnel said, “It’s set up temporarily to manage his matters, in other words, an agency,” in an attempt to defer from the saying that they’ve set-up a company on their own. However, some inside analysts said, the truth is, they may be paving path for a “Jung Jihoon incorporated” entertainment company with Rain as the anchor artiste.
Meanwhile Korean news are stating Rain will be back in Korea in mid-August .. happy of all Rain’s US concert tour organiser, Star M who submitted a public apology statement on the 27th … thinks all is great and can’t wait to start the new projects with Rain! YG Entertainment or so we called YG Family claimed that they now signed a contract with a Sandara Park and YG have the confidence to let her be the next BoA. This lucky girl was a Korean descendant who lived in Philippines since she was young.
Sandara Park was one of the most famous female artist in Philippines. After she went back to Korea in 2004, she found out she have the ability to become a singer. Now, she joined Se7en, JINUSEAN, LEXY, 1TYM…. as a new member of the YG Family. She will be filming a whole new drama, and it will be broadcast at the end of this year.
